I think it would have been a refreshing take for cinema audiences to see a more diverse relationship on screen, such as that between a white (Super)man and a black women.
We rarely see this portrayed and it would have been nice to see a more bold casting choice for Superman to go beyond the already done race swapping of Perry White...

I'd wish they would change Perry White's last name at least. Perry Brown has a better ring to it. I feel too many times we only focus on racial diversity but we also need to pay attention to racial last name diversity as well

In what way is altering a characters genetic skin pigmentation at all refreshing. Wokes want people to believe that altering a characters ethnicity adds some new layers to characters. Because you know Perry White is so much more interesting now that his genetic skin pigmentation is a few shades darker. Race swapping is a boring woke gimmick that i wish would just end already.
