Some movies benefit when theres a change in political ways/government or coming after a traumatic event, creating a zeitgeist type thing

so Trump wins Nov 24, creates full on celebration of Americana for next few months.. and SUPERMAN, the ultimate symbol of America, could benefit from that, esp as its the fun colourful hopeful feel good 'comic book' version of Superman not seen since the Christopher Reeve films (in total contrast to the dour 'deconstruction of the mythos' Zack Synder version and even the Bryan Singer version - despite Singers version being a vague sequel to the Reeve films) -

we're talking Star Wars/Superman78 post Watergate big, Spiderman post 9/11 big, The Dark Knight post Bush/Ledger big, Top Gun Maverick post covid big. in fact id go as big as 2 billion ww

(by contrast Cap America BNW in Feb with its more lefty/democrate/conspiracy/sinister/Disney vibe only gets to 500m if that)

Gunn is about as far left as celebrities get. When he still had his twitter going it was non stop hate on Trump.
