Yep, pretty dumb. Don't know what was happening, but these people jump in a space shuttle and take off in it like it's a car and they're going to go for a spin. Of course a tidal waves comes in, and a huge wave hits the space shuttle, and it just keeps on going up. That's all I needed to know. This is like a 3 year old intelligence level. Even today's modern kindergarteners know this is nonsense.

there is a lot of fiction in MOST movies.
everyone is allowed to like and enjoy different things.
This was fun/cool in the IMAX. kinda dull on my home screen.
