Great choice of younger versions

I haven't seen a show with a better choice of the actors who play the younger versions of the leads. At some point I was thinking if they are doing a deep-fake of Jeff Bridges.

The young Bridges looked like him but didn't sound anything like him. Clearly they were guiding off the film "Against All Odds". The young Lithgow was stunning, though. Voice, look, everything.

the young Lightgow was missing his towering height

I'm certain Lithgow VO'd his voice for his young version. Watch the lips.

Well done, though, and really helped establish what we were watching when they plopped us into that time period.

I’m incredibly impressed with those young actors mastering a vast script of Persian language conversations too. It’s amazing how natural they sound and how they’re still able to credibly act their roles in a completely different and relatively obscure language at least for Western actors.

That's true, that was well done. Still it bugged me that they did not resolve the plot in one season. It's not that good that it deserves to go on and on.
