Outstanding book, no one better to adapt than Scorsese

This is one of the most tense, shocking books I've read in recent years, and it's all real. What took place is Osage county in Oklahoma in the 1920s is fascinating and absolutely horrifying. Thanks to David Grann for bringing this to light.

Half-way through the book I found out that Scorsese is going to adapt this. I guess they don't start shooting until the spring of 2018, but I'm already gearing up for the trailer.

I had to read this for my book club. I thought it was dry and focused too much on the FBI and the villain(s) rather than the more interesting Osage characters. The author bogged the story down with too many boring details and too many names. I skimmed a lot to get through. I think most in my book club thought it was good subject matter but agreed the writing was dry and disjointed. I’m looking forward to a more palatable movie version. Some of the casting I question but we shall see how it plays out.
