The Islamophobic Episode Of ‘24: Legacy’ After The Super Bowl Was Unacceptable
The reboot has learned nothing from the original series’ biggest misstep.

I didn't even see this first episode, but if watching it will in any way "offend" the serially offended, overdramatized, unhinged, killjoy cucks at the Huffington Compost, count me in...

Yeah they should have gone with Amish terrorists, that would have been more believable. *rollseyes*

Wonder if the Huffington Post remembered on World Hijab Day that 100,000+ Muslims women in Iran in 1979 took to the streets to protest mandatory dress for women that was enacted in the Islamic Revolution?

reply

So are you telling me that after 10 seasons of 24 and 6 of Homeland where Muslims are the bad guys, they are pissed off at how they are represented? Gee... How unsentivie

Do those writers ever come out of their basements and take a look at what's happening around our world right now?

Islamaphobia?  Let the PC snowfakes whine.

No sh**. It's because IT IS! Episode 2 is even worse. It's so generic. Look more middle east terrorists, we've already been over that a million times already. This show is tanking so hard and no it's not because of the lead actor. I know some of you don't like him for several reasons - trust me when I say, he's the least issue with this show right now.

Obviously, Huffington Post expect the villains/terrorists in every film and TV series to be the old cliché of Russian nationalists or American/European neo-nazis. *yawn*

reply

muslims have always been the villains on 24, hell they set off a dirty bomb in Season 6.

Also who can forget Habib Marwan and Syed Ali.

reply

Yes, luckily for us Howard Gordon and company have not been afraid of making the terrorists a little realistic for a change.
