better or worse than Wynonna Earp ?

Never watched Wynonna Earp, but this show is garbage. Being SyFy, they went totally low-budget with the production design, and all the characters are pretty much completely forgettable. Worse, the action sequences and dialogue really drag it down. It's just a typical C-minus grade SyFy throwaway, I think. Example: watch for the continuity foulup with the knife in the final fight scene. Really? Lazy as *beep*!

It's bad and so was Wynonna Earp. I'd probably give it a notch higher because of the main guy, he isn't all too bad to be honest everything else just utter garbage.

Worse. Earp started off bad, but it picked up early on. This is still treading in the water.

Yeah I used to love dying, but that speech really turned me around.

Wynonna Earp is horror and drama with snark. It doesn't have vampires or zombies. It has revenants and evil. It consistently has action but still makes room for credible relationships. It's also about the importance of family and legacy. It may not be on the same financial level as an HBO production, but it managed to make the most of what it was given. What's important for me is enjoying what I bother to watch and I enjoyed watching Wynonna Earp.

Van Helsing has been spending way too much time on everything but Van Helsing. Maybe it will get better before the season finale but except for the Van Helsing backstory, her rise from death, and her supernatural powers, it is increasingly becoming a snoozefest for me.

Earp was silly and schlocky, but could still be fun. Van Helsing is terrible in every way with no redeeming entertainment value at all. It's not scary, it's not exciting, it's not sexy, it's not original. It's just awful.

This is worse than Earp. Earp has Tim Rozon who absolutely kills it as Doc, but this has.... nothing to make up for everything else.
