2 remarkable coincidences?

1). The boy (who just happens to be a gang member associated with coyotes) just happens to see Benicio Del Toro in the parking lot in Texas, and he just happens to get a close look at Del Toro’s face, and he just happens to see Del Toro at the border smuggling site. How can that be?

2). They just happen to run into a mute couple who communicates solely by sign language, and Del Toro just happens to be fluent in sign, as his deceased daughter just happens to have been mute. What are the odds?

Yeah, small world in Sicario. Another few things that kinda bugged me was he got shot in the face, then managed to get up and walk all the way to the area where the gunfight was at. It looed like they drove a long way after he was shot in the face to the area where they helicoptered the girl out of. Then he’s all healed up a year later, I mean I would assume he would have to through multiple facial surgeries. And the little gang banger kid sure did get tatted up real good in that one year.

I'm with you on the first one, but I would guess that people who know sign language probably cross paths with deaf people in their lives. What's so strange about that? It's not like he wouldn't have found a way to communicate with them otherwise.

And he recognized him at a great distance in the dark too. And if I'm not misteken he recognized him with a hat on.
