FWIW I don't think Hamilton is good, and Moana is kind of terrible too. Anything Lin-Manuel Miranda touches gets an ENORMOUS amount of publicity (his pr machine is huge, obviously) but I can't stand him.

Luckily, it’s mostly a certain vocal (but not-so-big) crowd on the internet that shares your opinion regarding this exceptionally talented and, by all accounts, awesome person. But judging by your other posts I’ve seen it’s reasonable to think the pathetic incel crowd would be the ones who would agree with you on most things.
Anyway, Lin-Manuel is clearly on a roll. And why in the world is that you may ask? I’m thinking the reason is, he possibly is just that good? Ergo, both critics and audiences respond well to his work. You dislike Hamilton (seriously doubt you’ve seen it and would ever care to if given the opportunity) and find Moana terrible? Ok. You know full well the vast majority most definitely disagrees with you, though. It is that simple. You cannot tolerate this actor, but many others do and it’s for all the right reasons. Unlike some, he didn’t get to where he is for no good reason. He is a creative and talented individual, period.
But all you read is blah blah, right? I have good reason to believe that you never considered going to see this film or any upcoming Disney film that doesn’t fit your agenda. BTW, my grandfather was supposed to be a cartoonist....at Disney. I like Disney. In fact, I belong to the Walt Disney Family Museum in SF as a contribuing member. Was just there to see "9 Old Men" as a mater of fact, which btw, is fantastic and is leaving shortly. Just re-upped my membership.
My grandfather was not hired by Disney though he was promised a job (he was an AMAZING ARTIST btw) because there was a strike. I talked to the people at the museum about this. I was in tears, I called my mother about what happened. My grandfather moved his family to CA to work at Disney btw, because of the PROMISED job. They went completely flat broke after that. My family survived.

I had never heard of this guy until fairly recently, he certainly loves himself which like everything in life, is okay in moderation. As for that Hamilton thing, what is this some kind of stage show?
Yikes, I really am out of touch with what is popular these days. But I'm white so he wouldn't want me in the audience of his show anyway.
Having actually seen the movie, I can say that Miranda was very good in the role. Sang and danced well, was charming and very likable, and had a decent go at a British accent, which puts him one up on Dick Van Dyck.
The group I saw the film with gushed over him, the minute I suggested that Zac Efron could have had the role. They were SO glad to have had Miranda instead!
