Is that what's happening? Cause they kind of had the 5 man team put together already. I know Renner has like these other things going on, and he's not as famous as they'd like. I'm assuming they want them Fast and Furious ensemble bucks. And I can totally see Cruise absorbing Cavill into his franchise to squash any competition from a potential Man from UNCLE franchise. It's impossible to guess from the trailers and MI's habit of a hundred red herring fakeouts.

shareI've read/heard the spoilers (heard from Youtube reviews that included spoiler) that what seanwhelan2310 said is pretty much right. He starts out as a good guy and then about halfway through the movie he is revealed to be the main bad guy/villain of the movie. And all I'll say is that it'll be EXTREMELY difficult for him to replace Renner in any (possible) future Mission Impossible movies.
