They are either brillaint or god awful. This one falls in the god awful category. What has happened to this genre? Can anybody give me any "underground" horror movies to watch that are actaully good films? Cause the majority (not all) of what I'm seeing just pisses me off. Please!
shareI thought this was a very smart movie. Very innovative and none of the characters (aside from the cops) were stupid. Which is why they all survived.
shareWhy were the cops stupid? They had no clue they were going up against a ghost that disappears in the light and can float and lift them with one arm and, oh yeah, teleport. They thought it was a domestic call.
shareBecause, the guy literally SEES the lady disappear when he shoots at her yet continues to shoot at her. Not to mention the main character screams at the cop lady to take a flashlight because she needs it, but the lady completely ignores her. I'm sorry, but if I was responding to a call where someone told me they were being attacked, I would take their word for it and take the flashlight because they KNOW WHAT they're being attacked by. Better to be safe than sorry.

shareThey had other flashlights but Diana stole them. That's why the kid took the candle. And they didn't know Diana would steal their flashlights, because they still didn't know what she was able to do. Not to mention the characters ALWAYS left the house when bad things started to happen, and right when she got the chance the main character got her little brother out of danger. Point is, if they really were stupid they wouldn't have survived, they would've already been dead before their mom could save them.
