Don't listen to reviews and critics. THE MOVIE WAS AMAZING!!!

People, please realize that these critics are opinions by individuals that get paid to have *beep* opinions.

holy $$$ :) this movie was really good. For new horror movies to come out and impress me, it doesn't happen often. The last two movies that hit something was The Conjuring 2 and Witch. This one was added to my list and i want to see it again!! The movie has a perfect time length and a progression that doesn't over-do the "creature's" appearance. You are left in a state of tension every time there's darkness. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and definitely delivers a few blows of minor jolts! The movie was amazing and i DEFINITELY recommend it to everyone!!

I think we all know you work for the film.

If you are going to post then why dont you at least make more effort and use a profile with more than one post on one film and 1 month membership of imdb.

Lame real lame are you the director perchance?

Its time to play!

Well this was just a dumb comment. If I wasn't bored at work then the only show I would have commented on would have been South Park, what does that prove? Lol.

reply

No yours is the dumb comment as you obviously dont know what goes on on this website - i suggest you google imdb false reviews or check the site for marketing dept promoting theri own movies - its rife on imdb.

Now move along dumbass!

in my mind... the movie is one of those movies that's enjoyable enough to see once but nothing i would re-watch again and like i always say re-watch factor is what ultimately makes or breaks movies long term.

5/10 (Thumbs Down) ; but decent enough for a viewing.

p.s. i only gave this a chance because Teresa Palmer is in it who's one of the most attractive actresses out there. but speaking of her... Warm Bodies (2013) (7/10) and Restraint (2008) (6.5-7/10) are the best movies she's appeared in so far. both are within my Top 212 movies simply because there is only 212 movies out of the 2,000+ total i have seen that i scored a 7 or higher. but Warm Bodies is a Horror movie but a lot of why it works is instead of the usual scares or blood/guts and the like it focuses around the relationship between a zombie and a human (Teresa Palmer plays the human).

Listen to this guy. The movie was outstanding! I have no idea why others are putting it down but it delivers pretty well if you're an open minded horror fan who enjoys a good frightening movie.

Judging by your enthusiasm for the film you're either a studio plant or a troll. Lights Out is a generic horror film. The jump scares are lame and so is the predictable plot and characters.

Critics mostly liked this movie.

I agree. Diana was a freaking terrifying vicious, murderous psycho demonic spirit.
I was scared because the actor's performances helped make it believeable. When they were terrified of the lights going out and Diana waiting in the shawdows, I felt the same way. The jumpscares were good too unlike some other horror films were there would be a jumpscare and nothing happens. In this movie something happens during the jumpscare so I was on the edge of my seat eyes glued to the screen.
