Why does everyone have to go to some island to find love?

Why not “Love Mainland”? If you can fall in love in some boring corner of the mainland then you know the love will last. These people are going to get all seduced by the sunsets, waves, and floral scents of the island, think they are falling in love but then it will all fall apart in the cold harsh daylight of a Walmart parking lot somewhere back home.

The 'Island' is not so much a physical location but more a metaphor for the seclusion or mesmerizing attraction two people feel when they fall deeply in love. So ideally, they could be in your Walmart parking lot but feel like they are on an island with sunsets, waves and flowers, because they are in love. The luxury, vacation like setting DOES take away from the everyday which perhaps increases the likelihood strangers will fall for each other.
