S.J. Clarkson will be the director. She's British and has done TV shows Life on Mars, Ugly Betty, EastEnders, Turn, heroes, etc.

So this is going to be the revised Orci script for ST3 with Hemsworth instead of Shatner ..maybe they could get it out for next year like October seems to be a good time to release SF films . Otherwise its another 4 year gap between movies

Then Tarantino might direct his Trek film now after his Dicaprio/Pitt Hollywood movie which is due 2019, so maybe will be out for 2021?

Orci has no writing credit for this movie so it's probably an entirely new script.

I don't want Tarantino involved in Star Trek if he's going to turn it into a dystopian movie, the opposite of Roddenberry/s vision.
