I'm not sure why there is so much hate for this movie, but I truly enjoyed it. They should have embraced the horror aspect more, but the reshoots tried to go in a different direction, I think. Magik was full-on awesome, and I would watch a movie just about her. I hope they keep Anya for that character going forward, even if they don't use the others.

As such deleted poster (lol), this version of the film is the version the director intended to put out all along. With that said, I dug it. While like most people I expected a greater film, I can’t say I was let down by the final product. It’s flawed for sure (it could have benefited from a longer running time), albeit I thought it was pretty solid overall.
Btw, whether she returns as the same character or not in a future film or series (anything is possible these days, though I wouldn’t bet on it), I would love to see Anya in another Marvel property.

That was filmed. I do believe his script had harder horror elements, that he had to tone down before filming.
I liked it a bit but frankly I can't say I am unhappy the version of Mr. Sinister talked about in this movie didn't happen.
