Most cringe-worthy turn-off-your-brain moments in the FNF series

For me, the most cringe-worthy turn-off-your-brain moment of each FNF movie. Keep in mind, there are WAAAAAY too many moments to list. These just always stood out to me...

1. Going through all the trouble of hooking yourself onto a moving big rig semi instead of simply laying down a spike strip and ordering the driver to get out at gun point.
2. Launching a car onto a moving boat in order to save someone inside it.
3. The main character doesn't speak Japanese but attends a Japanese school where the teachers don't speak english.
4. Driving through those tunnels at those speeds
5. Dragging a bank vault all over town (need I say more?)
6. Catching someone in mid air (both going in opposite directions at high speeds) and landing on a windshield with no repercussions what so ever.
7. Cars jumping between 2 skyscrapers

I can only imagine all the cringe-worthy turn-off-your-brain moments there will be in 8.

Furious 7 where they drop out of a plane with parachutes, and all but one of the cars lands exactly on the mountain road, even though they had no way to steer the parachute. Though I guess that scene was worth the laugh.

Oh wait, yeah, also in "Furious 7" when Dom is able to cause a cracking concrete floor to give way entirely by stomping it.



As much as I like this series, I will say that it has its share of off-the-wall stunts, pun somewhat intended, too.

One of my favorite moments that is cringe-worthy and worth turning off your brain for is the gas heist from the beginning of the fourth film. The idea of having a hot woman doing seductive motion to get the hook from the truck to latch onto one of the gas trailers, not to mention the truck is in reverse as this is happening. I will say the same about the one that Tego and Santos drove, but the part with the woman doing that sexy crawl just makes me laugh. Also, how Dom was able to drive through the wreckage and the fire like that and barely drive under the flying gas tank when it could have easily smashed it.

All I need is one mic...

If you watch this franchise expecting realistic (?) car driving and heists you're in the wrong place; that said, if you want to point out the most impossible moment I'll remind you: two cars, a safe, steel cables.

For me going back and watching the first couple is cringeworthy. I love the whole series and I have admittedly terrible taste in movies, but the over the top nature of newer entries pale in comparison to the; "It's not how you stand by your car, its how you race your car" aspects of the older ones.
