Two word reason to not watch this show: Jaden Smith

More annoying and dumber than a room full of Kardashians.

reply

Have you even seem it? Don't judge a book by its cover. Read it first or in this case, watch it first.

reply

I just started watching it, Jaden Smith stood out because of how flat and unconvincing his acting is. He's garbage, BUT, I was caught by the show immediately and Jaden Smith aside, I definitely think it's a show worth watching. Just gotta suffer through his screen time.

reply

Jaden Smith has the charisma of bird poo.........beyond that the most unwatchable screen person I have ever seen. Please go back to wearing dresses and then think about finding a tall building.

reply

Amen. He gets his likability (or lack thereof) from his mother.

reply

You have to watch it. The funny part I seen was when he was talking his real life gibberish and the other kids were like he's crazy. Jaden Smith is actually playing his real life self in this.

Agreed, he's already becoming a parody of himself in Hollyweird: the pseudo-intellectual, weird, partially gay black kid who thinks he's deep.

Soon he'll be cast in movies in need of a weird, black teen just to fill that purpose much like Gary Busey, who went from being a serious action movie actor, now he just gets cast to play Gary Busey: the crazy old guy with the toothey grin.

^I got this impression also. Especially in episode 6.

Sure he's pretentious in real life, but I still think it's lame to skip out on the show because of one actor. His character is so marginal so what difference does it make? People saying he's SO bad that they can't watch the show are being entirely too over-dramatic.

reply

Are u nuts this kid is terrific! I will bet odds on this kid will get a nomination for his proformance!

reply

Now which one are you? Will or Jada?

reply

I was saying that about Justice not Jaden. Unfortunately Jaden got worse as I continued to watch. By the end of the program I agreed with you. He can't act at all. I think he thinks he's a natural but he's not. He's flat. I hope they get rid of him in time.
Sorry for the miss understanding.

reply

He kissed a dude so probable.

reply

I don't care for Jaden Smith all that much but I wasn't turned off by his performance. He didn't really stand out but he was better than some of his other cast mates.

reply

He's not bad in the show. Definitely gives a solid performance

reply

I concur

he has an interesting character. Great afro btw

reply

im halfway thru the series and dude has had like 5 lines total, almost no screen time. so if you dont like jaden dont worry he barely in the movie, now if u dont like musicals , stay far away

reply

I have to agree, when I heard he was in it...my excitement went down.

They see me trolling...they hatin, they wanna try to catch me typing dirty

reply

He's really just playing himself. He doesn't add anything to the show, but he certainly doesn't drag it down.

I also find it laughable that there are adults trash talking an 18 year old on a message board.

reply

My real issue is with the parents that could raise a child to be that uneducated, ignorant, self-absorbed and just generally horrible.

reply

you must know very few parents because you could see this just about anywhere. at least the kid isn't on drugs or running with a gang or voting for Trump

reply

he may vote for Hillary... which is worse.

reply

I like it how whenever someone criticises trump or clinton, the response from their supporters usually boils down to saying the other one is worse.

HaggieMonster:

Uh,seriously? You must be talking about trumpf's kids. I've never gotten all the hate for Jaden Smith. No big fan of his,but people just seem to not like him for no other reason than his being Will Smith's son. I saw him on a talk show last week talking about the show, and it was clear that he'd done some research on the subject, and was excited about it. I mean, you never hear about him in the media pulling some stupid Charlie Sheen type-BS, so I don't get why he's so hated by some folks.

And to the OP: To decide not to watch a whole show because of one person is pretty idiotic to begin with.

reply

I don't really know a lot about him since I'm not a celebrity-worshiping tabloid reader like the OP but it seems very petty reason to dislike this show.
