just starting to watch this, and already whenever this is set be it late 19th century or early 20th century, we have black characters and a female police officer...
i hope the series is good... but this kind of meddling with historical settings to suit and promote multi culturalism etc is just plain nonsense... its really not necessary

The OP didn't say there were no blacks in England.
Misrepresenting what he said exposes either ignorance at best, or a deliberate effort to distort.
