Did anyone else find this scene difficult to watch? Kurt was so clearly out of it, and looked awful. It was really sad to see them put their daughter In that situation. But I guess they were like that for most of the 2 years he got to Spend with her.
It just made me really angry that he let himself act that way around his baby daughter. He should have cleaned up his act. I lost a lot of respect for him for that :(
A huge betrayal to show someone so ashamed of his drug use in that state.
That being said I don't expect anyone in the family to think of what he would have personally wanted.
yea they violated him with that scene, we didn't need to see that. It wasn't filmed with the purposes of being shown to the world like that but now everyone can see Cobain be a junky. He looked ambushed in that whole exchange like they were gathering evidence of his drug use.
shareKurt used to be a hero of mine but watching the film showed him for what he really was: a junkie. He was a tremendous artistic influence and changed my life, so I'll always respect him and love his music, but I don't think I can look up to the man the same way I used to. The fact that he couldn't overcome his illness and go on living just for the sake of his daughter is truly tragic though.

They should not have been allowed to look after that child. They were both so obviously still on drugs. That poor baby. Courtney is nothing but an attention seeker, swearing etc infront of Frances. Very sad to see they were even allowed to bring that child home. Such a sad situation. And showing your tits every five minutes around anyone and everyone is just trash. Those two should never have had a baby in the first place.
