The cast are fabulous, however one cannot help but think several are Australian budget clones, James the main cop reminds me of a budget Aussie version of Ryan Reynolds, meanwhile Vic (Bad cop) is a cheap Matt Dillon, and Kirstie's ex boyfriend (who didn't strangle her) is a low cost Dennis Quaid.
Are there any I've missed?
I thought Kate's looks (sometimes) and the way she spoke reminded me of a not as skinny Gweneth Paltrow. And before I really got a good look at her, I thought Sarah was Dakota Johnson.

I totally agree with OP about James. I kept saying he was a bite-sized Aussie Ryan Reynolds.
