I missed Thor Ragnarok - Will it make much difference if I watch A:IW first?

Hi Guys,
I've seen all the other Marvel films, but missed Thor Ragnarok (I'll get round to it soon I hope). As the thread title says, will it matter?

IW1 made Thor Ragnarok completely pointless! ITs simply a waste of time to watch it when youve seen IW1.

Guys, I've seen Thor 3 now, so thanks everyone for their input. Although I haven't seen AIW yet, I'm guessing that having seen Thor 3, I'll at least understand the opening scenes now (I'm sure there'll be other stuff, but no Spoilers, eh?).
