Judging from the trailer, I don't think it will be as comedic as Thor Ragnarok. It seemed to be taking itself pretty seriously

Yes true. Thor 3 teaser trailer made it look like a comedic romp from the beginning. This still could happen with IW but since TWS and CW were more serious my guess is so will this one, especially considering the stakes involved.
