Why Brie Larson though?
Why didn't they pick Katheryn Winnick? was it because of her age? I mean c'mon there's nothing even remotely intimidating about Brie Larson.
shareI haven't seen Katheryn Winnick's work yet but they might have opted for a more popular actress, and Brie is just coming off an Oscar win and starred in Kong: Skull Island.
Also, hate to say it, but age may have been a factor as well. Katheryn is 40, Brie is 28. If they are potentially doing a trilogy with Captain Marvel, Katheryn will be nearing her 50s by the time it's all done.
Exactly they want Captain Marvel to take the lead in the next few Avengers movies. Brie being 28 at the time is young enough to do the role for the next 5-10 years. Brie was a great pick for Captain Marvel and will do well.
