There already is a real life Purge - it's called Abortion

I love seeing liberal commentators talk about The Purge with glee as they draw comparisons to Donald Trump's election campaign, as if this is what conservatives want to implement. The truth is, the liberals have already instituted a Purge: and it's called abortion. Think about it: abortion is used very disproportionately by the poor, underprivileged, and minorities.

Going further, a dirty little secret liberals like to ignore is that the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a racist who wanted to use birth control as a means to eventually weed out inferior races. Well, her vision has been carried out! It may as well been a Margaret Sanger clone, or the current head of Planned Parenthood, acting as the New Founding Fathers of America. They are the ones "cleansing" America in real life.

Yeah, sucking out a clump of insentient cells is totally like mowing down an adult person with a car during the Purge. Exactly the same.

I suggest you deal with it cause it ain't going nowhere after the recent ruling. :)

THIS is what I mean in my thread about this being a very US-centric movie! Donald Trump, Liberals, Planned Parenthood... Stuff this movie and stuff your rant about abortions. Let women do what they want with THEIR bodies and keep your nose (and opinions) out of it!!!

how about you tell woman to quit being whores and use protection , you wouldnt have to kill a baby if you wasn't banging random dudes and then go on Maury and find out you don't know who is the daddy cause she slept around alot. You do realise that you can still get pregnant if you use protection, right? It's not 100% effective.
You seem to have created the perfect strawman (or strawwoman in this case) of who you think will get an abortion. What about women who were raped? Or women who, for medical reasons, would die if they carried a foetus to full term? What about someone who is too poor to care properly for a child?
You seem to think that women just want abortions as an "easy way out", but it isn't.

Weird how conservatives who don't give a crap about poor, blacks, or any other underprivileged group are so gung-ho about the rights of fetuses. I guess you only care about people when they're in the womb; once they're born, they're not your problem.

Conservatives care more about blacks than liberals do. Their policies have failed the black community for 5 decades. Just because libs parade blacks around come election time and talk about all the "stuff" they are going to appropriate for them doesn't mean they care more.

In fact, religious Americans who attend church regularly are more charitable than non-religious people in America.

She did start PP to "weed" out AA, Jews, and Chinese. Since the early 70's there have been over 15 MILLION abortions by AA women. Also, AA women make up only about 7% of the US population but account for about 40% of total abortions in this country. Right in line with the amount white women do, despite being such a small part of the population. I bet the great majority of the abortions done were by women in poor conditions.

I am so happy this movie came out! I get to purge all the bigots, anti-vexers and tin foil hat paranoids by muting them. My world just got a bit quieter and better.
