Blue Ruin contained some the "best" most visceral violence I have seen in a long time. It truly shocked me at times in how realistic it was. Is Green Room on the same level? If not worse?

So, did you watch it yet? If so, what'd you think? I personally loved this movie. Kinda difficult to watch any of Anton's movies now, though. I was a big fan of his and I'll miss his work

shareThat scene got to me, too. I think it's because of Anton's reaction. I was pretty surprised how badly injured he was when he pulled his arm outa the door. I was just sitting there like "ok, this is gonna be fücking crazy..."

It is rather violent but the violence is so brief and serves only as shock value, and like compared with Martyrs this is Disney
Sometimes it's better to keep the genie in the bottle.
It's violent, but not something like Inside.
Is it comparable to Only God Forgives?
