I could never reconcile young Eli with old Eli.

Almost done season 2 and I cannot accept that young Eli grew into old Eli. It has nothing do do with the looks of the actors. There's no way young Eli as portrayed in the show ever grew up to be as heartless, shrewd and calculating as old Eli.

Just starting the show but isn't Brosnan too young to play old Eli? He should be 80 but looks 60. Let's say young Eli was 14 in 1849, 66 later in 1915, he should be 80 by then.

Yes, that's another problem. All in all, it's a good show, though.

I just finished season 1 and can't stand old Eli but even young Eli is pissing me off.
