So many actions seemed so odd/weird.

Oh please, half of you that complain about children being stupid ate cardboard at their age.

I ate cardboard at their age. I went to a lot of movies then and always got just enough cash from my mother to pay for admission and one box of candy. I had to make the box last through two feature films, previews, a newsreel and a chapter of the kid-oriented serial (my main reason for going at all). The candy, however sparingly ingested, wouldn't last that long so once it was gone I would start eating the cardboard box. I took to tearing off the corners of pages of my comic books and eating them as I read. As far as I know I suffered no unpleasant consequences from my pulpy diet. Probably good roughage.

One of them wanted to untie the guy in the trunk by shooting at his hands with a rifle. I'd say they were definitely retarded.

...You're correct. There are several odd scenes in "Cop Car"! In fact there are, parts of the movie reminded me a little of "Fargo"!

I liked the scene in "Cop Car" when Kevin Bacon finally makes it to the vehicle to rescue the the trapped boys and the first thing he says to them is: "Did you look in the trunk? Did you look in the trunk? Did you look in the trunk? Did you look in the trunk?"

The expression on his face was priceless! LOL!

All things considered, I enjoyed the movie a lot! :)
