I’m sorry but I am incredibly sick and tired of Hollywood going woke to try and please everyone. I adored the Sonic franchise video games and even their older television series.

Now for this film, I know I can’t be the only one who found the casting choice of the wife to be a mistake and ultimately a distraction. For such a big movie I’m sure they had hundred of actresses that auditioned for that role.

So I ask, how and why exactly did they chose that woman?? Did she sleep with one of the executives or higher ups but something isn’t adding up. Rant over.

LOL I just came on here to see if anyone else was talking (i.e. complaining) about this very thing and here it is--the very first thread! I even had to check the OP's name to see if I was the one who'd posted this! I'm actually watching Sonic 2 atm and YES it's fucking distracting. First of all, the wife's acting is corny as fuck, like something that belongs in a laundry detergent commercial--not a feature-length movie. And secondly they live in MONTANA. According to Wikipedia, Montana is 0.6% black. It's literally the whitest goddamn state in America. WHY the interracial couple if not to try and check a box and "get in" with a blacker demographic? All it does is distract and make me roll my eyes! Truly stupid and cringe.
