First of all--FUCK Rain Johnson.
Secondly, Tran shouldn't have been bashed the way she was. She was essentially an employee doing a job she was assigned to do. She read the script and acted the part. She doesn't deserve to be slammed so much for following a script.
All slamming and blame should fall squarely on the two responsible: Kathleen Kennedy and Rain Johnson.

To be fair, everyone gets bashed on the internet, it's par for the course. And if you're a celebrity, time to grow a thicker skin. Not that I'm condoning it, but from what I saw the comments were basically "your character sucked" - wasn't like she was getting death threats. You're absolutely right though, people are dumb as hell to go and bash an actor for a horribly written character.
Regardless, we still have no evidence either way as to why she deleted it, so it's just pure speculation.
