One Billion?

I think Its a pretty good prediction that SOLO wont make 1 Billion...

Right now, I'm thinking anywhere between 750 and 900 Million is the landing point....

obviously if the movie is a complete trainwreck and just awful, I could see it making less, Maybe between 600 to 700 M, But IMO the The Floor is 600 M

Also if the movie turns out to be Great or a really fun Advanture movie, I could see it making more than 900 M...

But right now...I'm think SOLO will probably be just average, get between 60 to 75% on RT, get a decent Cinemascore and the overall consensus be...Its a good addition to the Star Wars franchise but nothing great...If that happens IMO 750 to 900 M is the mark

I think at this point Disney Will be happy With anything over 750 M...given the troubles they've had...the Budget Ballooned out of control...

I imagine if the film makes 750 M in theaters, and The over the next few years with Blu Ray,DVD,home media and TV revnue, Disney Will at least break even...thats pretty much the best you can hope for when you have as much trouble with a film as SOLO...

anything over 850 Million...I imagine Disney Will immediately start talking and Greenlighting a SOLO sequel(If SOLO receives good reviews and good responses)

Its entirely possible Solo might make over 850 M but have an awful reception...If thats the case, it makes no sense to go forward with a sequel, as seen with BvS, when a blockbuster has a Awful reception, yet still makes a ton of money, The Sequel is going to have a HUGE decrease...same thing happened With The Transformers movies and countless others...

but If Solo is received Well and makes over 850 M...IMO Disney Will Greenlight a sequel...

PS also quite curious to see how badly Suicide Squad 2 Decreases in Box office....The reception to SS2 was nearly as awful as BvS...the kicker for me is The Joker...Letos Joker was a Huge selling point for Suicide Squad, and simply put, there cant be a bigger letdown or creative failure than Leto Joker ...I literally just dont see how anyone who saw the first film will actually be thinking, Hey I loved The Joker, I'll go back for the sequel....

Its clear, there was quite a portion of the audience that ONLY saw SS because The Joker was in it...the rest of the Squad were basically unknowns...

A. I dont even think Letos Joker is going to be in SS2, It was just to much of a fail...Leto doesnt want to come back, I'm sure the Studios doesnt want Leto's Joker back either, I imagine WB wants "A JOKER" in the film, but not Letos Joker, I bet they are trying to figure of how to recast right now....

and B If Leto Joker did Come back, It literally might LOSE more audiences than gain...

right now I'm think SS2 is gonna have a MASSIVE decrease...

wouldnt surprise me if it opened between...65 to 80 Million....and made around 500 to 550 World Wide...

MAYBE if WB pulls out all stops....has The Rocks Black Adam debut in the film as the Villain, recast The Joker With a Great Actor and really focuses the film on Robbie's Quinn, The New Joker and Black Adam...then Maybe were talking about a Successful SS2...

but basically that means WB would be just starting over, changing everything, admitting they cant go forward after SS1 reception...It would almost be a reboot thats actual a sequel...

thats the only way A SS2 is going to be as successful or more successful than SS1....but given WBs track record, We should except none of that

Just this time last year it was the general consensus that ANY Star Wars film would cross a billion.

My oh my what a difference a year makes!

Too many angry fans and talk of boycotting. $500-700 million worldwide depending on how bad the movie is.

No, the movie will do BRILLIANT box-office. Disney soldiers will personally round up whole towns of people and force them into their local multiplexes to watch the movie, and woe betide anyone who doesn't like it: they'll be shot against the wall.

In honor of the great and mighty Lando, I predict this movie will NOT make 1 billion, I guarantee it!
