Tough show for me to get into....

Did anyone have a hard time getting into this show or was it just me??? What was your reason(s) for either getting into it Or not getting into the show??

Hardest thing for me was the whole Charles Manson thing. Like i thought the show was more about them bringing down Manson but it didnt end up being that way. I mean, read the summation of it and that's what i got from it. Knowing what happens for Charles Manson in later years this show just struck me hard to get into. Even when i noticed its not exactly what i thought it was going to be i still found it hard to get into.

I got sucked right into the show, but then they're "talkin' 'bout my generation."
Also, I did live in Manson-less hippy communes back then that earned money by selling arts and crafts (rather than stealing).
I wonder if the audience age skews older?
Just the background music is enough to keep me.

As a child of the sixties, I was hooked right away. I never expected it to be a factual doc about Manson. While the detailing could be a little better, it does have the "feel" of that era, which is enough to keep me watching. The sixties were interesting times indeed.

I didn't finish Season 1 because I was tired of all the "Emma come home " crap. I missed the last few episodes. But I tuned back in for this second season. I'm glad I did. I am liking it much better.
