Yes. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot. I think the story was good, the acting great, fairly good special effects etc. I think they did a great job of recreating that era of the SW universe and fitting in parts of the original film.
I loved the robot; he was hilarious. I really enjoyed seeing C3P0 and R2D2. I was going "Yay!" inside because then it felt more like real Star Wars. But I was glad they weren't around too long. I thought the new robot was funny without being so annoying.
I didn't like how they recreated Grand Moff Tarkin and Princess Leia. Too weird looking and jerked me out of the story. Just get actors that look similar and use makeup.
I thought it was a bit too violent, and I really hated the ending a lot. It felt gratuitous that they killed off so many. I also felt that Saw Gerrero's death was gratuitous. He didn't even try to escape. That seemed pointless to me.
I was thrilled to see Ben Daniels (I just interviewed him last week!) and other familiar faces, like Jimmy Smits. "I'm going back to Alderaan..." Nooooooo! Bad idea!
The plots of these movies are never going to be so great because they're action films, first and foremost. A lot of the stuff that happens seems silly. Like in the last part of the movie, how they transmitted the plans to the rebels. Oh, look at this big lever, just setting out in the middle of the field! What??? That was silly. But the rest was good.
