Not really. I found it quite boring actually. Full of nice private jokes, good final battle, and I loved the ending, it's true, seeing Leia, I was not expecting it. Also I found it ballsy to kill everyone else, that was surprising, no happy ending for that little band of brothers, but otherwise, what a disappointment. And the return of Darth Vader ? Completely botched ! Moves off, walk off, even the costume is off (what is wrong with that massive collar ?!). It's like nobody in that production even bothered to watch Episode 4 to match the 2 Vader's movements.
I am a Star Wars fan, I have been one for 39 years now, and I loved Episode 7 (except for the little "surprise" death, and I hope you burn in Hell for that Abrams and Kasdan you rascals). But this is a complete disappointment, and maybe a useless movie...

I myself really enjoyed the film and liked Vader but i did have one gripe which im surprised you did not mention. I found the way he delivered his dialogue to be very un-Vader like. Maybe JEJ is getting old but the voice also wasnt as commanding as it was in the ot.

Anyone who uses the term "Mary Sue" is a dirty neck beard having homosexual hipster.
