A New Hope was boring. The Force Awakens took the formula of ANH and improved it. Plus with much improved special effects it's way better than ANH. Sorry you can't handle facts, kid.
Wrong! TFA did a bad job of copying ANH with new characters that were archetypes from a preteen Disney warrior princess movie, converted the Force into Disney magic, and pretended to give depth and intrigue to the story and characters with JJ Abrams mystery box nonsense. It was a nostalgic trip back through ANH with faster pacing and better special effects. But it was one rehashed ANH moment contrived to next in ways that made no sense at all other than force the story ahead to next point!
(Just 2 examples of many: Kylo kills the only guy who knows where the map is before he even knows about Poe or BB8! R2D2 wakes up because it's time for the rest of the map to show up in the movie. The Resistance have no idea where the rest of it is or what to do now that they have the one missing piece that the First Order needs. Nobody thinks to check Luke's droid in all those years? "Hey! Let's just take R2D2 with us everywhere even though he's been unresponsive all these years!" and the Resistance is too stupid to suspect that he might have the rest of the map! Apparently R2D2 is loaded and moved every place Leia goes over the past 10 years because she uses him for squats and leg presses!... Or maybe she uses him for a jewelry box!) But there's so many more moments like that in TFA.
ANH was far better written and laid out in storylines and character development and plot! But you wouldn't know that because you're too busy getting excited by the loud sounds and bright colors!
