Dumb end for Chris
His entire arc went nowhere and he was killed off in a flashback.
shareFor the last few episodes?
shareDefinitely right about being a stupid ending for Chris. They kill him in a flashback. They couldn't have shown him more respect than that for being an original character?-- His whole story arc went no where.
Why does Madison get to keep both her kids while Travis loses his only child? Nothing happens to Nick but Chris is killed just like that and after just losing his mother.
Agreed her and her kids are annoying know it alls, the writers made these characters so hateable, they think they can solve any problem, they get into situations they know nothing about and 5 minutes later they are experts on the situations. They all know Spanish practically fluently in a matter of days!!!! Travis went from a p***y to a stone cold killer in days too, kill them all and give us new characters please.
shareDude, people are either complaining that the characters aren't super badass survivalists or they are complaining that they are in any way capable of anything. It is not like Travis killed the two kids easily. It was messy and he probably wouldn't have been able to if they weren't in an accident.
And don't forget, Travis has killed before. He killed Andrew (military guy) when he threatened his family. He just didn't want to become a killer; He didn't want to change just because the world had. But anyone is capable of being a killer if they are pushed far enough. That is the point of the show to me.
The Spanish thing is fair. But we also only know that Nick didn't speak Spanish (and yes he picked up some of it fast but it didn't show him as exactly fluent). I don't remember any scenes that show all of the rest of the family. It would make sense that people from LA know at least some.
I was kind of hoping for more from the Chris storyline. It could have been more interesting for him to go off for a while and become something bigger like a villain. Once I saw those kids at the gate last episode though, I kind of knew that wasn't where it was going to go.
kill them all and give us new characters please.
Im glad that little prick is dead. It was still sad tho.
Lose the Game!!!!!!!
watching him crawl and shouting out dad (was that it?) was satisfying.
You can't persuade fanboys. You'd be better off trying to convince a wall. ~CodeNamePlasmaSnake~
a good challenging thought provoking thing to do for his character would have been for his own dad to have had to take him out as he spiraled into a homicidal jerk, embracing his dark side and reveling in the situation. but no, they had him hurt in a car crash of his own doing and put down like a dog, in a flash back. great writing team. There are so many thought provoking angles you could investigate for this show but you give us,.... lame.
shareAgree 100%. Kirkman said beating up the punks was a part of travis's character development? Wtf having Travis kill Chris would've been perfect for his character development. Another missed opportunity.
shareAgreed, I had hoped for more to his character, especially in the end. Who knows, MAYBE they could have him wind up still alive and saving their asses next season? But It's pretty doubtful.
There was potential for his character, even though he was abominable. But in typical Walking Dead fashion, the writers just wasted it.
Riddle wrapped inside an enigma, wrapped inside a taco.
I think it was a great way to kill him off, but I agree, it should not have been in a flashback. It felt contrived and cheap.
