They seem to be going with the classic Kong look

Instead of the gorilla from Peter Jackson's version. I approve.

I'd say the original look is more like Pete Jackson's.....

The look in this film is more like the 1970's verson.

Thank God! I can't tell you how much I was going to be dreading this film if it was just another oversized gorilla like from Jackson's sh***ty film. Seems they've nailed the look of the REAL King Kong, and I'm happy about it!

YES! It was my first thought. And the graphics and cinematography looks amazing. I think it will turn out to be a really great film.
