shareHe meant it as a joke. It's not the type of American movie that goes well over there. Weirdly enough, Coco did quite well in China a few years ago.

shareMaybe they can do a deep fake type of change and give Ansel Elgort Chinese slant eyes and Rachel Zegler Japanese slant eyes (I couldn't tell the difference, but Asians probably notice things like that) and make it a love story about a Chinese boy trying to find happiness with his Japanese immigrant girlfriend. They might like it over there.
