I never liked Ms. Ferlito in CSI and I do not think she is a good fit this show. This show has always been on the bubble to me. I am a big fan of Scott Bakula, and that has kept me in it. They already added a "hard chick" character with Shalita Grant. And then they tried to do that forced romance with LaSalle. Which has zero chemistry. They do not need two hard chick types on the team. Brody was the softer side. I was not a huge fan of that actress but now I wish she was still there.

Jan 2017- I am bummed out. I am finding myself skipping ahead on these episodes with her in it. I am not sure I can stick with this if they make her a permanent part of the team. Which it looks like is going to happen.

I am in full agreement. She is killing the show. Tired of her constant interjections. And I hate the way she looks. A little too much botox for me.

This show is a half-way house for bad actors ( and actresses). Not one can act worth a damn. I keep blaming it on bad writing but this season is worse by a factor of 2.

Agree! Agree! Agree! Thank you for starting this thread. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't stand the new season. I never thought I would stop watching this show because it was one of my favorites, but I'm done.  I loved the botox comment by one of the posters! Ferlito ruined CSI NY for me (until she left!) and she has done it again with NO. The sooner they get rid of her, the better. And please, please stop trying to force romance between LaSalle and Percy. Gag! 

100% agree with that the pouting really annoys me.. she hardly ever blinks either add to that the whole badass new Yorker thing and it is just too much.. love the show but she it dragging it down all by herself.

And she always looks STONED!! It's hard to concentrate and consider her realistic when she always looks stoned.

Really wish they would get rid of her character. Creates obnoxious animosity and horrible screen chemistry between her and possibly everyone else on the show. I love Scott Bakula - which is probably why I watch it - but watching with this new character is work to watch. And not pleasant work.

Awesome, other people who also don't like her. She is such an downgrade from Brody. Wth were they thinking when they made this move?

Completely agree with you! I hope the people who make the casting decisions read this board because Vanessa Ferlito is really ruining the show for me.

She's abrasive, she's a narcissist, she ALWAYS has the duck face/pursed lips thing going on and I just can't stand her "holier/ more superior" attitude she always has.

She's also a one character person. While the casts and names of her characters change, they all act the same - "I'm from New York so you have to fear me" or "I know better than anyone else how to do law enforcement so bow down to me."

So tired of seeing her on this show. If she's going to stay on this, I'm done watching it. I just can't stand seeing her in it any longer!

Exactly right! I'm not saying anything about the actress because I haven't seen her in anything else and can't make a comparison. But the character is horrible and I don't enjoy seeing her on-screen AT ALL.

I have never liked her either,but after tonight's episode I'll be more likely to give cut her a little slack (re: Percy ).

The put Jennifer Esposito on the original NCIS, and she's pretty good. Who dropped the ball by putting Ferlito on this?? She is useless and annoying.
