Monster for Sure
He is a cold-blooded murderer.
shareOh, please. Like the healthcare insurance industry isn't cold-blooded. They can't take what they dish out?
share>>> Like the healthcare insurance industry isn't cold-blooded<<<
Insurance companies never get any credit when they do save lives. All we hear about is when the "big bad insurance company" didn't pay a claim. And by law, they have to cover people with pre-existing conditions now. It's called the "Affordable Care Act" or "Obamacare", ever heard of it?
According to research, insurance companies have saved over 30 million lives in the last 10 years or so. Do we ever hear about that in the news? Nope....
What gave Mangione the right to take Thompson's life? Did he fail to pay a claim? Do you have a link that specifically indicates that he himself made that decision? The thing is, it's underwriters that make those decisions not CEOs. CEOs are usually involved in the marketing/investing side of a business.
So again, what gave this guy the idea that killing Thompson would solve our healthcare issues? Mangi was never a member of UHC, never filed a claim, never got into an accident, and didn't even know Thompson or what his role was with UHC.
In fact, Mangi was a Ivy league grad, came from wealth, lived a cushy life, had privilege... nope... nope, nope, fuck this guy. I hope he gets the chair.
stop spreading truths!
shareThanks, MC.
It's disappointing to see so many buying into "bad insurance company" narrative. Sure, there are times when they fail to cover some medical procedure or whatnot, but we have to look at this on a case by case basis, there could be legitimate reasons why they decided not to cover something.
Certain policies might not be "full coverage". In fact, many of them aren't. But if you have an ACA policy, there is no reason for you to complain.
Mangione wasn’t even a member/customer of United Healthcare.
shareHe could have shot him with a paint gun and made the same point. Murdering him was gratuitous and more likely with create a backlash that won't help his engender support for his cause at all.
shareYeah the same way the Mexican Cartel uses paintball guns to teach their rivals a lesson, they used to skin each other alive and post it to make their points but once they realized paintball guns are just as effective they switched to that means of revenge. I cant think of anything worse than being shot by a paintball gun, its not like 13 year olds play with that shit for fun...
shareYes, let's all follow the Mexican Cartel's example so we can finally have a utopic society like Mexico.
shareA better point. When he explained why, then his argument would be more credible.
shareGood joke 😹😹😹
