Thor became a joke.

Ragnarok has a lot of humor, more than some comedies, and it some of it is funny but Thor is the punchline of most jokes. So Marvel made Thor into a joke. Smooth move Marvel, lets see how that plays out in the long run.

Thor is kind of a god of love.

He can't pick up his hammer unless he has good intentions. That kind of character SHOULD inspire complex writing about motives, self-reflection, and so on. It would be an epic character that would be sending a message.

Hollywood does not create characters like that. It is likely because it's composed of varying degrees of Harvey Weinstiens. Druggies, pedo, perverts, it's the constant stereotype.

Do you think they want to take a powerful and loving character seriously?

Thor is an intensely masculine character which is out of fashion among certain groups so they turned him into clown to appease Twitterverse. Also they have learned that Americans will support crap as long as it feels right, thats been sadly true across generations and socioeconomic groups.

I see you are still an active user, so I will go ahead and reply by saying this: I personally think that Ragnarok was made to be much more lighthearted because the first two movies were super serious. Honestly, I think the second one was overly serious. That's just the way I see it. I can understand not liking it. They probably could've backed off on some of the constant quipping, but the director of this movie has that kind of style.

Yes. That what male friends do, bust each others chops.

Men socialise by saying mean things but having the subtext be the opposite. Women socialise by saying nice things. But having the subtext be the opposite.

The goal of leftist Hollywood is to emasculate white men and make others look stronger, more noble, more intelligent, etc.
