Ending?
Hi guys, could someone please explain the ending? What is that they see in the distance?

shareYeah all I could see was beautiful scenery and a sunrise….I was expecting some giant wall… it was odd the the road finished at the edge of a cliff too…
shareAccording to Sarah Palin, Russia.
shareOr, according to Obama, the 57 states of the US. Or, according to Hank Johnson, Guam tipping over.

The Zombie genre has been very popular since 2008 it's an allegory for "people" who voted for the obamanation (pronounced abomination)..... Brains.... Brains.... need.... Brains
shareWhatever they were looking at, standing around for a familiy picture out in the woods seemed like a really smart thing to do after that narrow escape from a whole bunch of monsters.
When I'm gone I would like something to be named after me. A psychiatric disorder, for example.
Well, if we're being realist here, we don't know how long they were driving for. Since the girl had fallen a deep enough sleep that she had to be woken up to see the view, it's a fair assumption that they had been driving long enough to have lost the monsters.
Of course, those monsters hunt by sound, and they had a loud truck, so maybe getting out of the vehicle is a bad idea (not to mention, if they are being followed, they just led them to the next settlement). So their next home has been destroyed before they've even settled in.
I didn't notice the village underneath the sunset and beyond the wall, but I guess it was civilization. I myself thought they made it to "the end of the world" that Patrick was talking about through the PA system.
shareI took it as the village that the pregnant girl referenced a little earlier. You can see smoke rising from many houses. So they see the sunrise and also see real civilization for the first time.
Time wounds all heels.
