Hilarious characters mixed with some 'feels and overall a great plot?

Party Down has a good mix of happy and sad

Arrested Development, Archer, Eastbound & Down.

it's almost like a fusion of those three shows, though none of them are ever as dramatic.

Flaked is a copy of this, minus the hilariousness but that wasn't the point of Bojack for me.

Dang great to see this thread getting replies to now. Great recommendations from all of you and have checked out most of he shows mentioned like Shameless, Californiction, Community, Rick And Morty, etc but still nothing handles drama and comedy as effectively as Hijack Horsemen.
