Looks like Jack Reacher has a chance to be done justice.

Lee Child acknowledges the...shortcomings of Cruise playing Reacher and wants to understandably cast someone more intimidating.

So, who should be on the short list?

I did like Tom Cruise's expressions though.. Even in the first Jack Reacher? They were classic. Especially the gang fight in the bath tub scene.

Vince Vaugh for the size. Could he pull off playing Reacher though?

I'd not considered Vince but he was pretty badass in Brawl in Cell Block 99. He might be able to pull it off actually.

It's the writing not the acting that's the problem.
The first movie was great, but the second was terrible.
I think they knew Cruz could do the job from his role in Collateral.

The first movie was bad in every sense of the way, except the visual. They had a great photography director.
