My take on this film

I was looking forward to this film. Before I watched it, I watched the first one.

That one wasn't as good as I remembered it, but it had its moments and the Jack Reacher character was still sort of a good idea.

Then I watched this. The Jack Reacher from the first film is mostly gone. I should have realized it was bad when I saw Tom Cruise all over the credits as more than just lead actor. I like him as a lead when someone else is driving the film, but when he's in charge, it goes to shit.

Besides that, it's just really not a very good story. And there's a lot of eye-rolling continuity problems, enough to be totally distracting.

Yeah, you really can and should skip this one.

5/10. I dropped the first one from 7 down to 6/10, because it's only good for a single watch.

Uh, so I guess that means this is a negative post (I saw complains for this in other threads). Sorry, the posts aren't supposed to all be nothing but cheery. This is just my honest take on it.
