Favorite: the original. The sequels got way too over the top and convoluted. This one was effective in its simplicity, as well as the scariest because it kept Jigsaw mysterious. Also, you can't top the shock that twist gave me.
Least: 3D might be technically the worst, but it's at least fun to laugh at ("It means we're breaking up with you!", "You, your friends, and your girlfriend are all RACISTS!", "She looks crazier than a sack full of cats"), but the 4th film just pissed me off. First off, I hate when sequels over-explain the villain's backstory. Second, I hated what they did to Eric Matthews (he was so badass in 3, and they kept him alive just to squash his head with giant ice cubes?). Then Rigg's test made no sense in relation to Jigsaw's MO, which is to make people appreciate life. Yet he's testing Rigg because he appreciates life...too much? I mean, okay, he's a little reckless while trying to save others, but his test literally revolved around letting people die. So, so stupid.
