I couldn't disagree more. I think Smith nailed it.

I agree with you, skay_baltimore. I like most of Will Smith's work. But this was a whole new dimension, to me, and I thought he did fantastic. And the whole premise too, makes a lot of sense. You can't go on taking the poundings NFL players take, game after game, week after week, year after year, and not have detrimental effects.

Congratulations! You have announced to the world that your brain is one dimensional! 

one dimensional...it's not liberal...but, I agree this movie sucks....and Will Smith is annoying in everything he does...I couldn't sit through this...pass on this garbage movie. Will Smith alone ruined it.

I think Smith is great in this - as opposed to his performance in Ali for instance, which I didn't like at all.
I also don't see how this movie is "liberal". What does it even mean in this context?

Will Smith is definitely not a Sir Sidney Poitier. His acting is one dimensional. I thought the rest of the cast outshined his performance. But he is still better than Jaden Smith.

I was impressed with Will Smith's acting. He should have gotten a nomination.

Has anyone (ACTUALLY) addressed why this movie is deemed "Liberal"?
