Instant flop! I'm betting a million dollars on ...

I can already tell that The Island is infinitely better than this. From the music, to the scenes, to the lines we get in this trailer, it all screams tweeny-drama-love-crap! And crap being the key word there at the end. Terrible choice in trailer music. The effects look like they might be interesting and it pains me to think just how wasted all this potential is going to be.

The Island had forbidden love but it also had a very engaging story with nice twists, sci-fi elements and tons of action! If even a small part of you is considering watching this, please see The Island (2005) With Scarlett Johansson and Ewan McGregor. Directed by Michael Bay! (ignore the fact they he reused a tiny portion of his special effects scenes, which you wont even notice, I bet; and that was only like 5% of the movie) Equilibrium (which I think was meh and overrated, had a story) The Island, had a story.. this is just a couple hot in the pants teens in there future who aren't allowed to fall in love and *beep* PAH-LEEEEZ! Watch HER (2013) with Joaquin Phoenix and also with Scarlett Johansson :P Watch any of those and let me know if I helped you find a movie worth watching by replying to this later.

The music in the trailer is perfect the *beep* you mean

This movie was terrible and so slow and predictable!

I paused it a bunch of times, went to do other more boring things like running errands and went back to it. When it finished, I said. OMG is that it?

Are you an SJW ? If so, please kill yourself immediately! Thanks

Right, so you haven't actually seen the movie? Explains what you have written lol.

Can you not read?

I WATCHED THE MOVIE.

The was awful. It was a love story between a tall hipster boy and a smaller fem-looking boy.

The taller hipster boy got himself fixed and forgot the secret love they had for each other. The film at he end tries to point out, that maybe his gay love was too strong and over-came the drugs in his system.

I dunno, maybe if it was hetro-love, the tall hipster may have gotten back to work and operated as normal.

There you happy now? Jesus, some people have problems just reading IMDB let alone a 90 minute movie!

I wasn't talking to you.

I don't share your opinions either but was referring to the person who was musing about the trailer music

You made my day! Can I use this in other places ?

Why don't you watch it first? You're 100% wrong on your assumptions, the trailer music actually isn't used in the movie at all, for starters. Second, the Island was an action movie, this is not.

This is a drama/romance with sprinkles of sci-fi, in it. It's a beautiful, powerful, and moving story of two people who just want to live. Be less of a cynic, and just give it a shot.

Funny how you didn't mention 'HER' which I recommended along side The Island. I'd also recommend 'Ex Machina' for something focused on drama/romance with a sprinkle of sci-fi that will be a bajillion times better than this teeny drivel. And I dont have that much of a problem with the music more than I have with what the music was chosen for and aimed at.. tweeny little idiot teens that have no idea what a good drama or romance is. That is why Im making another assumption on your age based off the fact that you also didn't say anything about my mention of HER. Tell me, was this movie better than HER? I doubt it - and I'd bet another million on that. It's just another waste of everyone's time compared to quality drama like that given from movies like HER and Ex Machina. Also check out the trailers to all the movies I mentioned. Way better than the entirety of the equals or whatever this is called and its trailer combined.

First, I've seen every movie you've mentioned, read brave new world, 1984, seen THX, and Her. Her was fantastic, the island was good, as was equilibrium, not disputing any of that, I'm just imploring you to watch the film first. Her isn't something I would loop in here, only because it was more akin to human relationships with AI, not a dystopian world where love is considered harmful and banished.

And as for your demographic assumption, I'm a 27 yr old married male living in NYC, not a female teen Adele fan.

It's made 24k total at the box office, definitely a flop.

Do you have any talents?
Well, I'm an Alcoholic.

It only premiered on a few screens, though.

Yeah. And there's a movie that's better than The Island and a movie better than that one and a movie better than that one, ad infinitum. What's your point?
