But it just doesn't work for me, which is too bad because I like Both Emma Roberts And Kiernan Shipka a lot and the story sounds very interesting on paper.

And then in the final act it suddenly decided to introduce demonic possession. Made the whole film seem like a cheat to me.
Demon possession seemed pretty obvious to me, early on.
shareThere was an air of foreboding and ominousness, but I didn't see any overt manifestations of anything supernatural. Which is ultimately what demonic possession is.
