Is it just me or does this show just have the worst

It's just you. The CGI on "The Expanse" is fine for a tv show with the exception of a couple of weaker vfx-shots (Ceres interior).

Maybe you want to list some examples of (scifi-)shows with better vfx?

Well, i cant speak for anyone but myself, but i like the CGI in the show.

I don't think anyone beside special effects geeks have super-high standards in this department. I think the show looks really lux....like, almost impossibly so, for a TV show.

Either the story is good enough to get your to ignore the CGI or its not.
Look at the original Star Trek ... ridiculous special effects, but it had good
characters and good stories so you just accept it ... so don't complain! ;-)

You crazy. The CGI in this show is the best thing about it. Crazy better than what scifi shows were putting out ten years ago.

This show makes excellent use of practical effects and computer graphics, and it's not in your face like other futuristic shows.
