Camille And Lena - Twins?

Hey all. There is something I've been trying to figure out here for a while now and it is pissing me off enough to post about it so here goes. Camille and Lena are supposed to be twins, correct? At first I thought "ok, they're not identical twins" for obvious reasons since neither one of them looks like the other. Then I got confused because sometimes people in the show say that they can't tell the two apart, even though they look completely different. Now I'm super confused because in tonight's episode, "Claire", in the flashback after Camille and Lena's mom comes back from whoring around, they are watching "Twilight" with the dad and they look identical! What the hell? Please, someone, clear this up for me.

I don't understand why this is a big deal. I don't know how old Camille was when she died but I do know on episode one Lena tells Simon "when I was in high school" and she was in a bar when we first met her so I don't understand what is so hard to believe. Alcohol ages you. Sorry it does. The two actresses look their respective parts as a family member and as their ages. Camille looks like a teen and Lena looks at least twenty one and if Camille died at age 17 then that problem is solved.

My nephews are the same age they are twins and they look completely different now that they are 22 where as when they were 1-5 they looked identical so yes. It is very possible.

I'm surprised noone else figured it out, with Camille's actress having such a unique eye color.

The issue isnt if thry are identical twins, it is poor casting. If you notice in flashbacks, they use Camille's actress to play Camille and Lena, in those scenes her eyes are bright green. Older Lena has much darker eyes, but they arent green. Unless people can change eye color (or if Lena likes to make her eye color less unique using color contacts) this is a flub.

Problem solved.

You didn't catch that their twins before the Twilight scene? What about the flashback at the end of the first episode? Or the flashback where Lena's hugging Camille's dead body? Simon's flashback also shows them both.
